Fixed tune is set.
Thanks to Brian and everyone who came out tonight to help dial it in. The tune is similar to last week feel. very balanced. Will end in push. Now this is Texas , the harder you push the car, the harder it will push back. Smooth, patient and planning will net you a good race. Push it out of the gate, and by 15 laps on tires you'll be sorry you did. I know for some of you the setups might be tight to drive, but bear in mind I'm still figuring all this out and right now I'd rather have folks lifting or changing lane to avoid hitting wall then constantly spinning out like we had seen in previous series. Remember track bar is adjustable in car, i suggest you map your keys appropriately and practice playing with it. I'm still working on "opening" up the set and hope to have that nailed down for next week. This track, seems to "feel" better green so we will probably start the race that way, unless you all feel otherwise tomorrow night. I've also set the weather to scripted for sake of interest and the rubber build is only 2x , not 5 x this time around. See you all on the track!

Thanks Ian! Should be a real fun race. Biggest thing I can say for the setup is just don't push the car as hard as it feels like you can. Part of saving equipment is forcing yourself to back off and not push the car. We had some good fun racing on the server tonight when we formed a few pit parties! Thank you also for setting the server to 2x on the rubber build up. The race should be real fun tomorrow starting on a green track, btw thunder storms are hitting us down here tonight where me and David are so this is a kinda cool added bit of realism, its like the rain tonight is washing the rubber off the track for the race!
I noticed we forgot to test batch file tonight, if I remember I'll try and remember next Monday. Everything seems to be moving along well on this new platform, having a good time with it and helping out!

We may be postponing tonight. Bunch of you that are south are getting hit with bad storms. Keep me updated via text or messenger as to how your power/internet is doing closer to race time.
Thanks

12:08 am and things are finally back to normal, sort of. The storms hit in the morning and were gone by noon, but we had a power sub station hit by lightning and a couple power poles that run my internet by cable had been downed by storm related idiots who can't drive in rain. But all is good now, so did the race go on?

Huge apologies to Dakota for losing my cool a bit last night, most everybody heres knows im not usually like that. When the accident happened my frustration meter was already pegged lol.
Apparently when Ian rolled server over I went to change my steering lock to 540 like usual only I guess I got hit with some kind of lag spike so when I went to hit race to jump on the grid I was still in practice.
Eventually I finally appeared on the grid (With everbody else already gone) only problem was it changed my steering lock back to default which that in combination with my wheel settings made it impossible to do any tire saving at all so my shot at a good finish was gone before we ever rolled off thr grid all cuz of a stupid lag spike.
Not to mention this was Texas and I take this one race serious probably to a fault lol. But thats where I was coming from I shouldn't have acted like a jackass it wasnt fair and Im not usually like that so I sincerely apologize.

No worries. Thanks for jumping in and explaining. I should have actually restarted the race. That was my bad I didn't realize you had technical difficulties. We'll make sure we keep an eye on those things for next week.
