Rob, i can't get to you till Tuesday. I can have a look before race time. Key thing to try maybe, is make sure all non essential back ground progs are not running.

Ok. First race with fixed tune. Big thank you to Brian and any others involved. You can adjust steering lock and brake pedal pressure for this week. I haven't had time to see what effect changing the multiplayer config files does and if it requires a repackage or not. I will work on that for next one. Server has been reset. 100 laps for tomorrow. So BE on time. If you can't make it be sure to let me know. It's a very easy tune to drive. I ran 50 laps on tires and car remained predictable. Push it and it will push back, smooth and steady and you'll stay planted for the whole time. 3 segments on this one. Lap 25, 50, 75. Thanks

Thanks Ian. I worked hard on that set for 3+ hours to get it dialed in just right. I should be able to continue to help work on sets through out the season also. Glad I could be of some assistance.

Glad for the help. Means i was able to give fixed setups a whirl tonight. Fyi, setting fixed set is freaking breeze in rf2. All done in game now. Next week, I look at opening them up.

Would like to thank everyone for coming out tonight. I think we had the largest field that i can remember in a long long time. 17 of us all battling for our own piece of asphalt for 100 laps. While we did have a lot of cautions we did have some moments of really great racing. That was exciting to see and what i hope we will see going forward. And i'm sure we will. More track time with each other will naturally lead to better racing. This was no different then each season of a "new" VHR. We are learning the cars, and a new sim for some of us. There's always bound to be quirks. This is a learning curve for me to, and unfortunately (to which i greatly apologize) is coming down to learning on Tuesday nights only. I hope to rectify that soon, so trust me when i saw i appreciate you all hanging out and helping where you can, i really mean it. My goal this week is to figure out how to open more on the fixed setups. It be nice to have a little more adjust ability come Texas. Test & tune is important right now , so if you can make Mondays nights it's appreciated, i know not everyone can. Brian gave us a good set for Phoenix, as was proof by the level of competitiveness throughout the field. Hopefully we'll see same thing at Texas. Texas will be about drafting if it anything like before. So we'll have to dial the tune in for that a little as well. If you are working on a set on your own, some tips to remember. I try for balanced tire heat, balanced start on fresh tires (for restart reasons obviously) and that usually leads to a push at end of a run. Not the most fun obviously, but better then having folks spinning on cold tires first couple laps. I can't tune for 900 degree wheels cause i don't/cant run it. So try to spend some time dialing in a good steering ration for you and in your settings. Might make a big diff for those struggling. I had good time tonight , was on my way to a good finish til I got caught up with Rob only because I over drove the corner. Oh well lesson learned and there always next week See you all at Texas.

Thanks for putting in on Ian, Sorry I hit you there in those last few laps when you got loose I couldn't get low enough to avoid contact. As for this being a learning experience, I completely understand. I had the rF2 beta for a long time so the sim itself isn't super new to me, but I've been looking into moving my league over and that back end stuff driver don't see can be time consuming to work out. I've also been working on modding rF2 to bring in more oval racing to the sim and holy crap all these new features are crazy complex, modding the tire physics is insane because of how advanced the tire model is. I spent 4 12+ hour days working on tire physics for 1 car just to get it drive-able. I've been trying to help you out whenever and wherever I can. Thanks for putting the league on and if you need any help with anything just let me know and I'll be happy to take some time to do whatever I can.
