Texas was a hard one for all of us. This mod hasn't been the friendliest to drive either. However, we all need to remember the real reason we are here. To have fun, and have fun racing each other. There were some incidents that occurred at Texas that I'm afraid i can't leave unaddressed because it's something we discuss every week in the drivers meeting. Essentially it boils down to sportsmanship and courtesy on the track. The following examples do not adhere to our standards and for the first time ever, after deliberation with the officials of Spazcar, am imposing penalties. While it has never been a necessity here to do so, i feel compelled to as we wind up the season and have a very serious battle brewing for the last race. I want us to have fun at Phoenix and the final at Homestead, but I also don't want to see someones chances of a championship or best ever season finish lost because of aggressive driving or unsportsmanlike conduct. Let's keep our heads about us for the final couple weeks, respect our fellow drivers on the track and the type of racing Spazcar has been known for.
As a reminder, NO passing before the line on restarts, unless driver in front of you makes a mistake. That also means no hanging back to get a run on the field. If the field chokes up in front of you... you may NOT fly through them. Lift off gas and stay in line until first corner. If necessary to avoid a wreck, you can go high to avoid them or low, but must not advance because of it. That is an unfair advantage and unsportsmanlike like conduct.

Cain essentially jumped the restart. He got a an early run before the line. While not passing before the line, he timed the passes for right after and was partly responsible for the wreck in turn 1. The result ended with a driver involved, prematurely vacating the event and communications.
5 point penalty, and start from rear at next attended event.

While David admits to losing his cool and wanted to apologize to Pat right away, he still did act in an unsportsmanlike like fashion. It resulted in Pat disconnecting from the event & communications.

This is where my main issue lies. Drivers should not be put in the position of quitting out due to unsportsmanlike behavior.
Penalties will be updated post Phoenix results.
Lets have fun tonight guys, respect each other out there and use your head , not just your foot.
