As this season starts winding down, I would like to start thinking about the next one.
Like what should we do about VHR?
Go backwards to an older VHR, or try something new, like a different mod or sim.
Sound off, give us your suggestions.

15 goes in the recycle bin. It just too far off to fix i think. 14 was better. As we are moving to cup cars next season, I'm think we go back to 14? We already have the tunes. But i suggest we test over summer to be sure.
Assetto is getting their mod going well, but still not a full series. Not everyone has/can run rf2. But i think we are talking only couple? Maybe collectively through us all & sponsors can get everyone up to snuff? But not a full mod there yet.
Nascar 2003 is anothet but the net code is so bad in that game, might as be using iRacing. (Shudder)
I'm thinking 14 might be it, but i want to tweak that mod as well to be right.

Just for clarification, does "next season" begin in the fall? And there is a Summer series in between?

I have to agree with Jeff. Move forward with RF2. 10 ovals and 3 road courses would give us a 26 week season. Additionally RF2 has just released a 1974 stock car version, 358ci, 4speed, looks like fun.

I would love to move to rF2 also, but some here don't have it, and can't run it. So we have to look at that also. But maybe if the normal season still uses rF1, we could run a second series on rF2. Just a thought. We don't want to loose anyone that can't run rF2 for one reason or another, it's hard enough to keep people coming back as is. And the stock car rules are not fully implemented yet in the sim. |
