Guys, hit me up with the specs of your machines please. Please follow the example I made below. I want to know who is capable and who isn't. I'd like to get an idea of who needs help and who doesn't. I can't help everyone out with hardware. But if I can pitch a good enough idea , maybe I can get some stuff out of AMD or some other sponsor. I've also reached out to ISI. My contact there is able to do a package deal for the league. He too would like to see us move to rF2 as he's caught some streams and loves our sense of sportsmanship & fun. He can get us 50% off (steam codes) He recommends the "life time" subscriptions tho, because it's easier for him to get it all approved. So that's half off the $85 price, or 42.50 per person for the lifetime deal. Payments come to me via paypal, I forward funds as a league purchase. Then I'll issue you guys codes. Something to think about.
System Specs:
CPU : Ram : GPU : PSU : RF2:
So in my case...
System Specs: Ian
CPU : FX-9590 ( or 5.0 ghz 8 core) Ram : 32GB DDR3 GPU : Radeon 290X ( or Power Color Turbo Duo 290X) PSU : 850W (or XFX Black Edition 850W) RF2: Yes ( or... No, but i can buy or No, I can't afford - no shame here, not everyone can afford the game even at half price)
This helps me going forward to pitch ideas, or see if maybe we just switch over to rf2 completely.
Thanks.

CPU : i7 Ram : 16GB DDR4 GPU : Nvidia GTX660TI PSU : 750W Corsair RF2: Yes
Edit: I really think we should move on to RF2. For me personally, I'm not sure I'm going to run another season of VHR or RF1 in general. I was looking last night and there are quite a few ovals on the Steam Workshop. I haven't tried them yet, but there are several there now, enough to make a season out of anyway.
And yes, that is a great deal you have on RF2! That would be hard to pass up!
(It will all depend if we don't leave anyone behind. I personally want to move to rf2 as well - Ian)

System Specs:Dan
OS : Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU : i5 K655 @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz. It's the oldest clockable i5 with 2 cores (4 actual, 2 physical) and I can run rF2 at a mix of max and high setting with no lag. (Not OC'd) Ram : 8 Gig DDR3 GPU : GTX 650ti 4Gig V-RAM PSU : 1100w XION RF2 : Yes (And it runs great on this old outdated system)
PS, I think you should add OS to the list for help in trouble shooting if applicable.
EDIT: I would also like to point out that 9x out of 10 you can run software with a system that has hardware one or two gens below minimum specs, minimum and recommended specs are almost always set higher then what is really needed to sell hardware, as hardware and software companies are in it together.
The one thing that is usually close or spot on is system RAM.

Hey Ian, I would need all that and more to get my machine up to speed for RF2. Can I do it? yes. Can I afford too? yes. Am I going to? no. And I say that because I want you to understand that I don't want in anyway to hold back the progression to a newer Sim. I just have other projects I want to spend any spare money on and it wouldn't be fare to ask for 'help' when I can really do it myself if I choose to. If the conciseness ends up being to stay with RF1, SCE, Automobilista or ASRX then I'm in. If not I will have to wait until I pileup our SunFire, decide it cost to much to fix up and move back to sim racing with Spazcar.

I am not planning on renewing my rf2 subscription until they have it all worked out. I will stay with Automobilista and rf1.

ok. so rf2 on steam is now downloading. will see what the cost is and go from there. There are 2 PS$ games out soon that have my cash tied up. Battlefield 1 and sniper elite 4, much prefer shooters to racing these days. will wait for DL to finish and check prices. Thanks Dan

CPU : i3-4150 @ 3.50GHz Ram : 8.00 GB GPU :Intel HD 4400 PSU :I don't Know RF2:No I don't have it. Yes I could afford it.
I tried to run the RF2 Demo and it would do much at all. I'm pretty sure there is just not enough machine here, its basically a nice office machine.
Ok thanks for the info Joe!

Because it eats in to your CPU and RAM for memory and processing. If you had a nvidea GTX 400 series or AMD equivalent or better with at least 2 Gig of VRAM, you could run it with that set up no problem. EDIT:Provided your PSU has the extra PCI power connector.
